El rock y el indie pop de Irlanda del Norte suena en nuestras listas de reproducción desde el año 2007, y gracias a Alex Trimble, Kevin Baird y Sam Halliday los seguimos bailando, cantando y gozando.
Two Door Cinema Club ha tocado en festivales como Coachella, Glastonbury y Lollapalooza, y muy pronto los tendremos en el Teatro Metropolitano para hacer como nos indican: ¡seguir sonriendo!
Llegan el 14 de noviembre al Teatro Metropolitano con su grabación más libre y colaborativa, ‘Keep On Smiling’ donde han optado por cierto continuismo respecto a esos 2 últimos discos. Abren con un instrumental llamado ‘Messenger AD’, como recién salido de ‘Stranger Things‘.
Temáticamente, si discos anteriores hablaban de la influencia de las redes sociales y la presión de la cultura de los «likes», ‘Keep On Smiling’ trata de poner al mal tiempo, buena cara, ante lo que consideran una «sociedad dividida y fracturada».
